Personal development is not an easy deal and doesn’t happen overnight. It does a lot in improving productivity, time management, employability, enhance your life quality and achieve your dreams and aspirations faster. But this requires some intentional step to step approach.

  1. Find role models to look up to for inspirations and daily reminders to help move forward in life’s journey.
  2. Learning a new language is a strong recommendation as the global village turns smaller through communication and networking, and this improves your personality and confidence. People who speak different languages have some uniquely different kind of confidence.
  3. Find others to push you or train with you. You can’t create a personal growth planall on your own. Some of the most successful people adopt external tools, strategies and influence from people connected to their personal ambitions in their various fields and sphere of life. This leads to faster growth rate.
  4. Look for a mentor. Someone who knows somethingyou don’t, but you desire to learn from. Or a person more experienced in your field of interest and available to helpyou plan to stay on track.
  5. Measure your progress. Have a fixed time to study how much and well you’ve grown. Investing in yourself is very important, but understanding the outcome and impact of such investment is more important to let you know how well to put your new capabilities and knowledge into actions. Be accountable to yourself, write down your progress and understand where it should take you.
  6. Organize yourself by making a list of things or activities you need to execute with periodic timelines(daily, weekly or monthly). Set calendars, put reminders on your phone, use sticky notes on main doors, desks, refrigerator or notepads to grt you set for planned actions. This helps to kill procastination.

Self development happens slowly anddeliberately, but consistency is what makes it bring the targeted transformation efficiently.
