You're good enough
You’re always good enough; you just have to look inwardly and see where your value lies.

I came across a story on the internet about a lecturer who whilst talking to his students took out $20 from his pocket and offered it to anyone who wanted it. Before they could respond he folded the money, stepped on it, and threw it in the trash basket, and then he crumpled it with his hands and then asked if anyone still wanted it, lo and behold, almost all the students were eager to collect the $20 bill from him. Why? This is because the bill never lost value.

You're still valuable.
You can revive your confidence once you understand the great value you possess

Majority of the time, the downfalls, mistakes we’ve made, and the bad experiences we’ve had in the past mess up our minds and give us this feeling that we’re not worthy, but this is just a ploy to keep us down and hinder us from standing up. Life happens to people differently and we’re not able to control some of these things but we certainly can control how it affects us. We have to look beyond ourselves and understand that many are bound to rise when we rise and many might not if we stay down.

There’s the place of self-belief, you have to believe that you can be better than your yesterday and work towards it. You’re not trash, your past mistakes are only trying to cover up the glow that you carry, but the truth is, it starts from your mind. You have to break free from within to see that you never lost value.

Here are some things you should try and put in mind:

  1. No one is above mistakes, and errors are can be corrected,
  2. Don’t beat yourself up, because there’s always more to you than your present state, you just have to keep the faith,
  3. Don’t look down on yourself, you are bound for greater things,
  4. Never let anyone make you feel you’re not worthy,
  5. Move with the right company; make sure you walk with people that pump up your morale to grow and stir up your spirit to do better.
  6. Don’t be far from God.

In the end, everyone just want to do better for themselves. The past is the past, you are still full of value and you can only diminish if you do not break from the shackles that are trying to pull you down.

YOU’RE STILL VALUABLE?
